Digital products: no physical returns or exchanges
Essentials Keys sells software licenses and other digital products delivered electronically. There is no physical item to send back. We do not accept physical returns by mail, in store, or at drop-off locations, and we do not offer a general product-for-product exchange service for non-defective digital products.
This does not limit eligible cancellation or refund requests before delivery or access, replacement of defective or incorrectly supplied digital products, or any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
Change-of-mind requests
You may request a cancellation or refund within 14 calendar days after purchase if the digital product has not been delivered, revealed, downloaded, redeemed, activated, or otherwise accessed. Contact us before opening or using the license information. If immediate digital delivery begins with your express consent and local law permits the right of withdrawal to end once supply begins, your change-of-mind right may end at that point.
Problems we will resolve
Contact us promptly if a key is invalid, the wrong edition was delivered, the item materially differs from its product page, the product cannot be delivered, or the same order was charged twice. We may ask for the order number, checkout email, screenshots of the error, and confirmation of your device, operating system, country or region.
We will first try to provide technical guidance or a working replacement for a defective or incorrectly supplied product. A replacement provided to correct a defect or delivery error is not a general exchange service. If we cannot provide the product purchased within a reasonable time, we will offer an appropriate refund or other remedy required by law.
Items that are normally not refundable
- A key or entitlement that has been successfully redeemed, activated, or used.
- A compatible product where the customer selected an incompatible device, operating system, language, region, or edition despite clear product-page information.
- A request caused by failure to follow installation or activation instructions when support can still resolve the issue.
- A request involving fraud, abuse, resale, transfer, or unauthorized use.
These limits do not exclude remedies required by applicable consumer law for faulty, misdescribed, non-delivered, or non-conforming digital content.
How to request a refund or replacement
Email contact@essentialskeys.com or use our contact form. Include your order number, product name, reason for the request, and any relevant error message. Do not publish or send the full license key unless our support team specifically asks for a secure verification step.
Refund timing and method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. We process approved refunds as promptly as reasonably possible. After the refund is processed, your bank or payment provider may take 5–10 business days to post the credit. Because our products are digital, no return shipping fee or restocking fee applies.
